Lip blush is a semi-permanent tint that brings back the colour lips lose over time. It softens an uneven border, balances asymmetry, and gives definition without the hard outline of a lip liner — the effect most people describe is looking well, rather than looking made up. It is a tint, not a filler. Lip blush does not add volume; what it does is even out tone, sharpen a border that has blurred, and make the lip read fuller because the edge is clearer. Shade is chosen with your natural lip colour as the starting point, so the healed result belongs to your face. Colour heals considerably softer than it looks on the day. This surprises clients more than any other service we offer, which is why we walk through it carefully before you commit.

What to expect

Your appointment, step by step

  1. Shade consultation

We choose a tone against your natural lip colour and undertone. Swatches are tested on your skin, never picked from a chart.

  2. Border design

The lip line is mapped to balance asymmetry, drawn on and reviewed with you before anything is permanent.

  3. Numbing

Lips are more sensitive than brows, so numbing is applied thoroughly and topped up during the appointment.

  4. Colour application

Pigment is worked in layers to build a soft, even wash of colour that fades naturally toward the centre of the lip.

  5. Aftercare walkthrough

You leave with written aftercare, including how to keep lips hydrated through the peeling stage.

Healing

What the next six weeks look like

Almost every worry we hear after a treatment is about a stage that is completely normal. Here is the honest version, so nothing takes you by surprise.

  1. Days 1–2

Lips are swollen and colour looks far brighter and more saturated than the final result. Both settle quickly.

  2. Days 3–5

Peeling begins, similar to a healing chapped lip. Keep them moisturised and let the flakes come away naturally.

  3. Days 5–14

Colour looks pale, sometimes almost gone. It has not gone — it is returning as the skin regenerates.

  4. Weeks 4–6

True, soft colour has surfaced. Your touch-up deepens the tone if you want more, or evens out any patchy areas.

Aftercare in short

Keep lips hydrated with the balm provided and avoid spicy or acidic food for several days. No swimming, saunas or heavy sweating for a week, and keep lips out of direct sun.
