PowderBrows build colour in fine, layered dots rather than strokes, giving a soft gradient that reads like a brow lightly filled with powder. It is the technique to choose when you want your brows to look done — defined at the tail, softer at the front, even in tone all the way through. Because it does not rely on blending into existing hair, powder brows work where microblading struggles: sparse or very fine brows, oily skin, larger pores, mature skin, and brows carrying previous permanent makeup. It is also the more durable of the two techniques on most skin types. The density is entirely yours to set. We can keep it barely-there and diffused, or build it fuller and more defined — and we agree on that before we start, not after.

What to expect

Your appointment, step by step

  1. Design and mapping

Your shape is measured and drawn on first, and adjusted until it suits your face. Nothing proceeds without your approval.

  2. Choosing your density

We agree how soft or how defined you want the finish, and where the gradient should sit, using your own features as the reference.

  3. Numbing

Topical anaesthetic is applied and given time to take effect before any work begins.

  4. Shading

Pigment is layered in fine passes to build a smooth gradient — lighter at the front of the brow, more defined through the arch and tail.

  5. Aftercare walkthrough

You leave with written aftercare and a realistic picture of each stage of healing.

Healing

What the next six weeks look like

Almost every worry we hear after a treatment is about a stage that is completely normal. Here is the honest version, so nothing takes you by surprise.

  1. Days 1–3

Brows appear noticeably darker and more solid than the finished result. Expect this.

  2. Days 4–10

A fine flaking begins across the shaded area. Let it lift on its own — picking is what causes patchy healing.

  3. Days 10–21

Colour looks light or uneven while new skin settles over the pigment. Judgement at this stage is always premature.

  4. Weeks 4–6

Colour and softness return in full. Your touch-up refines density and evens out any areas that healed lighter.

Aftercare in short

Keep brows dry for seven days — no swimming, saunas, steam rooms or heavy exercise. Avoid direct sun and skincare acids on the area, and let flaking resolve without help.
